ProsperityME is a non-profit service organization dedicated to helping Maine’s immigrants and refugees build successful, rewarding lives in their new homeland. Our services are open to all refugees, immigrants, asylees, and low-income individuals in Greater Portland and Lewiston/Auburn, Maine.

Southern Maine Workers’ Center
SMWC is a grassroots, member-led organization building a movement for economic and racial justice in Maine. Their Work With Dignity and Health Care is a Human Right programs seek to provide immediate support and win concrete victories for Mainers who struggle to meet their basic needs, while developing grassroots leaders prepared to uncover and address the roots causes of injustice. Through a process of outreach, follow- up, and leadership development, we bring people together to change the unjust conditions they face– from the workplace to the statehouse.

South Sudanese Community Association
The mission of the South Sudanese Community Association of Maine is to promote growth, development, and integration of South Sudanese families and individuals into the American society by building community identity, promoting opportunities for economic advancement and developing leadership capacity for advocacy and civic engagement. In the summer of 2017, South Sudanese Community Association piloted a summer soccer program, Community Champions League, to engage youths from many different immigrant communities, this grant will fund the continuation of the League in 2018.
