Participant Orientation and Q&A – Grants for Change 2021
Our participatory grantmaking process offers participants opportunities for learning, reflection, and engagement on racial justice issues in Maine. We seek to meet participants where they are and give them the tools, information, and opportunity to move towards more profound, more impactful engagement with this work and those leading the efforts.
Previously known as Readers, Participants will have the opportunity to connect with BIPOC-led, racial justice-focused organizations in Maine. Following their lead, Participants will engage with the key issues, priorities, and requests from leaders to the broader community and help shape the community-led redesign of the G4C program over the coming year.
We know that change is often accompanied by questions – we invite you to attend a Zoom Orientation and Q&A with Grants for Change Directors Desiree Vargas & Julian Rowand.
In this session, we will go over the packet scheduling, the feedback form, time commitments, and any other questions you have!
This session took place on October 27, 2021. Here is a recording of the Participant Orientation and the Participant Q&A.
