Announcing our 2019 Watering Can Awardees!
We are excited to share that we will be honoring four inspiring leaders and activists in our community as recipients of this year’s Watering Can Awards! This is our 3rd Annual Changemakers Celebration, and is a special event as it marks 25 years of grantmaking at Maine Initiatives. Join us in honoring these community leaders that are tackling the roots of injustice, and celebrate our collective work to advance racial justice and equity in Maine through transformative community philanthropy!
