Community Organizer Training Event
New England Grassroots Environment Fund is hosting a one-day training on April 29th in Portland, ME through the RootSkills TrainingSeries. RootSkills aims to connect community organizers and nonprofits working to address social justice challenges and improve community health, community resilience, and the environment in Northern New England.  Now more than ever, it is critical that organizers work together to build a shared vision for a more just and sustainable region.

Receive Grants from the Grassroots Fund 

In addition to networking opportunities, the RootSkills Training will provide 12 skill-building workshops on topics from fundraising to exploring individual experiences of race, systemic racism and white privilege, to effective communication and marketing strategies. Participants will also have the opportunity to apply for small grants (up to $1,000) with the Grassroots Fund staff at the training. More information about the training is available here.
